IMSA Retake Exam Guidelines
The following steps apply to individuals who did not pass their initial IMSA exam taken through their IMSA Section and now have a Retake Exam pending.
Steps to Access Your Retake Exam:
When you’re ready to take your Retake Exam, you’ll need to log into your IMSA profile using your IMSA ID and Password.
(Please note: you will need to make sure you have your IMSA ID and reset your password once you access the new IMSA website when it goes live.)
1) Go to the “My Programs” tab.
2) Once inside the “My Programs” tab, click “Click here to add a new Certification Application.”
3) Complete and submit a new Certification Application for the Retake Exam.
4) After submitting the application, click “View My Programs.”
5) This will take you into the Brightspace platform. You will need to select the exam program you wish to retake.
After Completing Your Retake Exam
Upon completion of a retake exam, the system will not automatically notify IMSA.

Please include the following in your email:
your full name
IMSA ID
date you completed the retake exam
What to expect next:
Please allow 3-5business days after you email for the retake exam results to be reflected in your IMSA profile.
You are responsible for monitoring your IMSA profile for the status of your retake exam results or notes explaining any delays in release.
